Robert Wilcox, MD photo

Biography

Dr Wilcox has been taking care of patients suffering from  obesity and gastro-esophageal reflux disease in the Colorado Springs area since 2001.  Prior to working at Pikes Peak Reflux and Weight Loss Surgery, he was the director of the Bariatric Surgery Program at Evans Army Hospital at Fort Carson, and led the program to Center of Excellence designation from the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons. 

 

As a Diplomat of the American Board of Obesity Medicine, he is also an expert in the medical management of obesity.  In managing post sleeve gastrectomy patients, he was been trained in the LINX reflux management system and has had good success with surgical management of reflux disease.
